Extraction
If the tooth suffers due to trauma, if it is badly decayed, or if an excess of bone loss has occurred around the tooth because of periodontal disease, the dentist may go ahead with an extraction. They will remove the tooth in order to maintain the health of surrounding teeth and your mouth as a whole.
Hygiene
Dental examinations and routine professional dental cleanings account for just a fraction of the general dental care services offered. Combined with oral examinations and cleanings, we recommend applying other preventative hygiene services to your regimen, ie: fluoride treatments, gum disease treatments, or professional breath control treatments.
Clear Braces Aligners
Clear braces aligner treatment is the clear alternative to metal braces for children, teens, and adults. Clear aligners utilizes removable clear aligners that help straighten your teeth and also provides correction to gaps, crowding and mild bite issues. The clear aligners will fit closely to your teeth to gradually adjust their position in your mouth.
Crowns
- A dental crown is a tooth shaped “cap” or “helmet” that is cemented over a tooth. This helps protect the tooth from breaking and also restores the shape, size, strength and esthetics of the tooth.
- Dental crowns are needed for the following reasons:
- To protect a weak tooth due to decay and/or fractures
- To restore a tooth that has been severely worn down due to grinding and clenching
- To cover and support a tooth with large fillings
- To hold a dental bridge in place
- To cover malformed or discolored teeth
- To cover a dental implant
- To provide a cosmetic and aesthetic modification
Night Guard
- A dental implant restoration is a procedure that provides a replacement for your missing tooth or teeth. The process involves attaching an artificial tooth to an implant that was placed and well integrated into the bone. This provides a permanent replacement for your missing tooth.
- Signs that you are grinding and clenching include:
- Worn-down tooth enamel
- Tooth Sensitivity
- Moderate to Severe Headaches
- Sore jaw muscles and jaw joints
- A night guard will help reduce the wear and tear of your teeth by providing a cushion to disperse the pressure from grinding and clenching.
- We recommend a custom-made night guard that would fit your needs. A custom-made night guard is created by a mold we make of your teeth and will fit your teeth precisely.
Athletic Mouthguard
- An athletic mouthguard provides protection for your teeth if you are involved in contact sports such as football, basketball, wrestling, soccer and more. The impact of an object or person against the upper and lower front teeth can affect the mouth for the rest of our lives. The protective sports or athletic mouthguard will help reduce the impact and collision of the teeth.
- We recommend and provide custom fabricated mouth guards that will fit closely to your teeth.
Digital Impressions
Digital impressions or 3D intraoral scanning is the latest technology in dentistry. We are able to capture a replica of your mouth and create a virtual model of the hard and soft tissues in the mouth. This replica is more accurate than a mold can it can be used to make mouthguards, dentures, crowns, bridges, retainers and more! This technology is extremely helpful for patients who have severe gag reflexes and no more goopy mold material that makes a mess.
Porcelain Veneers
- When you bite and chew, your teeth distribute the pressure onto each other. When you are missing teeth, the pressure is localized to the teeth which can cause the teeth to move over time, drift out of place, rotate, or even break.
- A dental bridge is a permanent replacement for a missing tooth or teeth. A dental bridge fills in the gap of a missing tooth by placement of a “pontic” that would be connected to “abutments” on your teeth. A dental bridge can be made out of different materials, from gold, alloys, porcelain.
Bridge
Porcelain veneers can help mask misshapen, misaligned, discolored teeth. Porcelain veneers are a “thin” covering placed over your teeth, usually your front teeth, to create an even, whiter smile. It helps improve the shape, color, and appearance of your teeth to create a more youthful and brilliant smile.
Teeth Whitening
- Teeth whitening is a method of making one’s natural teeth appear whiter and brighter. Methods included in teeth whitening may include sanding down stains, bleaching the teeth, ultraviolet (UV) light therapy, and more.
- There are different types of stains that may affect how white your teeth are.
- Intrinsic stains are stains inside of your tooth enamel. This can happen before and when your teeth are erupting as a child. These stains can be caused by antibiotic use, high levels of fluoride, trauma, genetic, and/or root canal treatment.
- Extrinsic stains are stains outside of your tooth. These may happen due to environmental exposure such as coffee, artificial food coloring, smoking, and more.
- We provide high-quality teeth whitening that provides lasting results! We have in-office (GLO Whitening) and take-home kits to whiten your teeth.
Sealants
Dental sealants are thin coatings that are painted on the chewing surfaces of the back molars to prevent cavities. These sealants are effective in preventing 80% of cavities over two years. Sealants are recommended to be placed on all permanent molar teeth when they erupt, starting at 6 year old when most children receive their first molars.
